Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session.

Sessions cancelled with less notice may be forfeited.

Training Approach & Expectations

Training is delivered using reward-based, behaviour-informed methods.

Behaviour change depends on many factors, including environment, consistency, and follow-through outside of sessions. Results cannot be guaranteed.

My role is to provide guidance, structure, and clear training plans. Client participation and implementation are essential to progress.

Safety & Responsibility

Clients are responsible for safely managing their dog during and between sessions, including the use of recommended equipment and protocols.

Christine’s Canine Consulting is not liable for injury, loss, or damages resulting from participation in training, including group sessions, or failure to follow provided guidance.

Group Classes & Meetups

Focus & Function Meetups are small-group training sessions held in public outdoor locations.

Locations may vary each week and will be shared at the time of booking.

These are structured training sessions, not off-leash or free-play environments. Dogs work at their own pace with space, movement, and guidance.

Participation Requirements

  • Dogs must be comfortable working around other dogs at a distance

  • Dogs must remain on leash unless otherwise instructed

  • Handlers are responsible for maintaining appropriate space and following instructions during the session

Safety & Liability

Participation in group sessions involves inherent risk when working around other dogs, people, and public environments.

By attending, clients accept responsibility for their dog’s behaviour and agree to follow all handling and safety guidelines provided.

Christine’s Canine Consulting is not liable for injury, loss, or damages resulting from participation in group sessions or failure to follow instructions.
